SHOP THE POST:
You may have noticed this blog has been on the quieter side for the past nine-ish months. That is in large part due to being pregnant and giving birth two weeks ago but it's also partly because I wasn't really sure where I wanted to go with this blog. When I started Style Cubby I was living with my girlfriends in Boston and had just started dating a handsome guy who agreed to take these silly blog photos for me. Fast forward to today, I am now married to said handsome man, moved out of the city, spent the last year building a house, and now have a new little princess in our lives.
I spent the last few months reflecting and trying to decide if I wanted to even continue working on Style Cubby. I truly enjoy it so much and it's been really fun to get to work with my husband on this blog but I was definitely loosing my drive. I felt like I was growing up and changing but this blogging space was staying the same and wasn't really "me" any more. With that said, I've decided to continue blogging (yay!) but this blog is going to transition to more of a lifestyle focused blog, rather than strictly a fashion blog. You may have noticed I've already stated incorporating more life style content (here, here, and here) and that feels more "me" at this stage in my life. Don't get me wrong, I still live for fashion and putting together outfits to inspire but I'll be throwing in some decor, DIY, baby, beauty, etc. (i.e. "lifestyle" content) along the way from now on.
I hope you all continue to stick around and enjoy the content as it becomes a little more variable. If you have any recommendations or requests for any blog posts or content, please let me know! I want to make sure I'm putting content out there you want to see.
Thanks for sticking with me through this bump in the blogging road but I'm excited to see where it goes from here :)
