SHOP THE POST:
Even though the record cold March we've been having in New England might make you think otherwise, it's actually spring! The temps are ever so slowly getting warmer and I'm itching to break out spring dresses and pack away all my jackets and sweaters. This past weekend, Mike and I celebrated my birthday and the weather was slightly warmer on Sunday making it the perfect time to shoot a few looks. Unfortunately, it was much too cold to actually wear it for the day (come on, spring!) but it felt like spring for a few minutes!
One of my warmer weather staples is a maxi dress, they are super versatile and by styling them a little bit differently, they can be appropriate for spring, summer, or fall. I loved the loose fit and relaxed cut of this tie dye maxi dress and knew it would be perfect for running errands, brunch with friends, or even just lounging around the house. The fabric is very soft and feels much higher end for the price plus it works now with the bump and will work afterwards too!
To keep it appropriate for spring temps, I added my favorite jean jacket and my new mules I can't stop wearing. They are perforated which will make them comfortable as the temps get warmer and the slip on nature of them will be perfect as the bump grows and bending over isn't as easy as it once was.
