Summer Scarf

SHOP THE POST:

When possible, I try to invest in pieces that can be more in multiple seasons, mostly by keeping things neutral and focusing on pieces that layer well. One of my favorite ways to do that is with scarves. This scarf is light, gauzy, and blush pink, making it certain it will be a a well worn piece.  I paired it here with a tank top and jeans which allowed the scarf to act as an accent piece and pop of color. Come fall, I would pair it with distressed jeans, a white top, and burgundy cardigan with some booties. I would probably also wrap the scarf a little more around my neck for some added warmth. The best part of the scarf? It has subtle rose gold detailing along the edges, so pretty!

I also wanted to take a second to talk about these jeans. Skinny jeans are by far my favorite. These are high waisted and ankle length, which are two details I've never had in a pair of jeans. Let's just say I've been converted. The ankle length is perfect for summer, you can easily wear a strapy wedge or laced up flat, without hiding the details. The high waist makes it so easy to tuck in a shirt and the shirt stays tucked. I always hate when you're constantly tucking your shirt back in but these jeans eliminate that issue. However, I would suggest sizing down, I ordered my normal size and they are little bit too big, mostly because of the (awesome) stretch in the fabric!
Thank you so Banana Republic for sponsoring this post. All opinions expressed are my own.
