Black Tea Serum / Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask / Sugar Lip Balm / Black Tea Anti-Delay Cream
Instead of making New Year's resolutions, I like to pick a new idea or goal to reach for, such as travel more (2012 - also the year I briefly moved to Nashville, check.) or be more open to a relationship (2013 - also the year I met Mike, we are now married, check.). My goal for 2016 was to be better to my skin and while I've definitely been better than any year prior, I haven't focused on it as much as I wanted.
I always hoard my Sephora Beauty Insider points until I reach 500 and then again hold onto them until there is something really good. I made a quick stop into Sephora the other day to pick up something I was out of and was so excited to see the 500 point gift was a small set of Fresh Skincare products. I've been a fan of Fresh for years and am a big fan of their lip treatments and Soy Face Cleanser. So this 500 point gift really was perfect timing. I've been using the products for two weeks now and am loving each and every product.
Black Tea Serum - I've used serum's before but had never really found one I loved. They were always too watery, too sticky, or not moisturizing enough. Frankly, I had kind of given up on them. Well, this one is the perfect consistency, feels a little cooling, and is so smooth. It feels like the end of a really good facial.
Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask - Mask's are the one skincare item I have been great about introducing to my skin this year. I rotate between the Boscia Peel-Off Black Mask and a clay mask I LOVE by a Boston based company and knew I was lacking a hydrating mask. Just like the serum, it's super hydrating, cooling, and instantly makes your face feel plump and refreshed when washed off. This was instantly added into my weekly face mark rotation.
Black Tea Anti-Delay Cream - I actually had just run out of my daily face cream and forgot to pick up more when I was at Sephora so this was perfect timing as well! Like the other Black Tea products, it's super thick, velvety, and hydrating. My only issue is it doesn't have any SPF in it, which is must for me when buying a moisturizer. However, I could totally see using it as just a night cream!
Sugar Lip Balm - I've always loved Fresh's lip products and this product was no different. It stayed on my lips for hours (even overnight!) and kept them soft and smooth! I will say, I do prefer a tube rather than a pot when it comes to lip products but that's just a personal preference!
While all these products were just small testers, I know I am going to be going back to Sephora to purchase the full size when these are gone. As I get older, I've definitely learned that taking care of my skin is my #1 priority when it comes to beauty so it's definitely something I am willing to invest in.
What are your favorite beauty products??
