This past 4th of July weekend was full of many celebrations with friends and family, it went by far too fast but was so much fun! On Saturday we went to a BBQ at our friends house and decided to do pictures on the way. There is this old abandoned church right on a peninsula on the water that I have always wanted to stop it near their house. It was such a beautiful day, though a bit windy, but the church definitely lived up to my expectations. It was so cool to walk around such a old building and imagine what used to take place there. Plus they have an enormous American Flag which made for the most perfect photo op since it was July 4th weekend! 

I wore this striped blue top with so many details I'm loving; the buttons down the back, the peplum, the stripes, if I could create a top, this is pretty close to what it would be. I'm also loving these new sunglasses by Quay, they are almost identical to the Illesteva one's I was renting (see here) but a fraction of the cost!
