Amtrak Downeaster + a Giveaway

I went to the University of New Hampshire which happens to have am Amtrak train (The Downeaster) that runs right through campus and continues on to Boston. While in college, I took it a few times to the city and post college took it a few times back to campus for Homecoming. However, it's been a few years since I have taken it and I haven't explored much beyond that one route so I was really excited when I was chosen to partner with the Amtrak Downeaster on this post! 

Mike's birthday was last week so we took the opportunity to take the train into Boston and met up with his Cousin and his girlfriend to go to a Celtics game! We normally drive in so taking the train was way easier plus it goes right into North Station, which is right under the TD Garden where the Celtics play! Taking the train was SO easy, plus we were able to enjoy a cocktail (champs for me, beer for him) and a snack on the way down. We would definitely do it again, only next time we want to take the train up the coast of Maine to Freeport, hello outlet shopping!

It goes to a ton of scenic places from Boston to Maine and is reasonably priced, I would recommend it as a option for sure!
