School Girl Plaid

Last week I attended the grand opening of the LIT Boutique in downtown Portsmouth, NH! It was a boutique I was familiar with when I lived in Boston and I'm so glad they made the decision to migrate north! Now if I could get all my Boston friends to move up here as well :)

After trying on maybe half the store (I loved everything!) I picked out this flannel and this skirt a few days before the event to wear to the big day! I am so happy with my choices, this flannel is actually the softest thing I have ever felt, super light, and the colors are perfect for fall! I decided to pair it with the burgundy skirt and navy tights to keep with the color palate and I couldn't help feeling a little like Blair Waldorf! 

I can't wait to wear this plaid for a more casual look with distressed jeans and moccasins! I've also paired this skirt with a navy striped turtleneck tissue tee and loved that as well!
