After three days of wishing and hoping our luggage would come, we finally accepted the fact that we needed to move to plan B, buy additional clothing to get us through the rest of the trip. If you ever lose luggage, look into what your airline will compensate you with. I had no idea this was a thing but our airline reimburses up to 200 euro a day for each bag lost for clothing and necessities. While most of Santorini’s shopping is made up of small local and very touristy places, we did find a few shops that fit our needs!
White Santorini in Fira was super cute and carried some of my favorite designers and I was able to pick up this Mara Hoffman dress. The dress is actually last season (but you can still find it online, here) and I had been eyeing it for this trip before we left but never ended up getting it. It’s my first Mara Hoffman piece and I can assure you the quality is top notch and the dress was beyond comfortable, has pockets, and I never wanted to take it off!
Sizing tip: I would suggest sizing down. This dress was the last one so I didn’t have full range of sizes to choose from and it’s actually a little too big for me but I was able to make some adjustments on my own so hopefully you can’t tell :)
