Style Cubby - Fashion and Lifestyle Blog Based in New England: The Perfect Travel Tote

The Perfect Travel Tote

Thursday, October 23, 2014

If there is one thing I always struggle with, it's packing a bag for traveling. Anything from a quick day trip to a week long trip where I go on planes, trains, and automobiles, I have never found a go-to bag. I always tend to choose my biggest tote and throw everything in it which proves problematic when I have to dig through it for ten minutes to find my Chapstick.

Well, my friends, the solution has been found with my new bag from Dagne Dover. I debuted my bag during my mini vacation at the beautiful Mount Washington Resort this past weekend and I couldn't have felt more organized. I have The Mini Tote  and it has a place for everything you could possibly need. My favorite aspect's of the bag include:

Insulated Water Bottle Holder - I am very guilty of not drinking enough water, especially when out and about, so it's great that I carry a bottle with me without the condensation making everything wet in my bag. It encourages me to drink me since I always have water on me.

iPad Sleeve - I pocket for the iPad is the perfect side and padded for protection. When I travel, I have to have the iPad. Whether for wasting time on Pinterest, taking notes for blog ideas, or watching movies on planes, it's a must and this pocket gives me confidence that the tablet will be safe.

The Many Straps - When running around, either when traveling or just through a city on the way to work, it's nice to have options. I have carried this bag with  both the long strap and the handles over my shoulder as well as just held the handles. When your running through an airport or through the landscape of a city, it's nice to be able to move the bag around your body to move more swiftly.

The Many Pockets - I now know where everything in my bag is, the is literally a pocket for everything. I can easily grab my cell phone, my wallet, a pen, etc. Everything is in it's own place and I am no longer digging to find anything.

I have two more trips planned over the next month and I will surely be bringing this tote along!
