Indian Summer

This past Sunday we had planned to go apple picking at our favorite local farm, Applecrest! We went last year and vowed to go back every year, the farm is awesome and they are rapidly expanding and will soon be adding a restaurant! When I envisioned this day, I was expecting to be wearing something like a flannel with boots but instead it was a blistering 83 degrees so I had to improvise on my outfit! This skirt ( last seen here ) was perfect for the day and kept me as cool as possible. We still really enjoyed the day and made sure to stop often in the shade of the trees for water and a few bites of a fresh apple! I think I'm going to be adding more posts like these to mix, recapping fun things we do and incorporating it into an outfit post, hope you like it!
