If you went through my wardrobe you wouldn't find one single piece that was yellow, I have never thought of it as a color I could wear. Lately, I have been trying to diversify my closet and challenging myself to wear things I would normally stay away from. While I don't think I am ready for a bright yellow just yet, I am finding myself attracted to the soft butter yellow. It's soft and warm tone will allow me to ease into the new-to-me color. One trick when you are wearing a color or pattern that you're unsure of is to wear it below the waist. This allows you to experiment while keeping the color or pattern away from your face and hair. It's usually the "clash" with hair and skin tone that keep people from wearing certain colors and patterns. Next time try wearing something new as an accessory or below the waist to ease yourself into it.

That's a great challenge - I'm like that with color too - sometimes a little too scared for no reason! Easiest start is nails!! The Marc Jacobs sneaks are so cute!
